Disney World

We had an awesome time last week at Disney World with my sister and her family. We really appreciate them letting us share their vacation with them. We left from our house Sunday morning, drove down and stayed all week at the Contemporary. E was able to fly down Thursday afternoon and stayed the rest of the week. With their Auntie at the Rock 'n Rollercoaster.
In front of the Magic Kingdom.

Trying to pull out the sword-in-the-stone.

The whole gang waiting for a show to start.

On Safari.

Playing in the Epcot fountains. We were very thankful for fountains. It was pretty hot.

We were very happy to be able to spend two days at the parks with Daddy.

Totally silly!

Flooding

We had a great time at Disney World and arrived home safely... unfortunately our area of Georgia is experiencing severe flooding. 17 counties including ours have been declared disaster areas. We are so thankful that our neighborhood is okay, but there are so many people that have lost their homes, schools and businesses that are closed because of damage and nine people have died. We hope and pray that all in our neighborhood will come together as a community to help each other and that God will bring comfort to those who have lost.

5K Fun

This morning E and I ran in a 5K that our church has every year to raise money for school supplies to help out kids in our area. It was a lot of fun. The boys weren't too terrible while I ran with them in the stroller. And E finished second and took home a trophy! After the race we enjoyed a pancake breakfast.
Hanging out before the race.

We are leaving for Disney World tomorrow for a week. I'm sure I'll have tons of pics to put up when we get back!

Birthday #31

I have had a lovely 31st birthday. When I woke up this morning and went into the bathroom this is what I found: E had ran me a bath and lit candles! After my bath I came downstairs for my E-made breakfast and found this waiting for me:
Flowers and Starbuck's. Awesome! Then we left for the Fernbank Natural History Museum. That's right, I'm a geek because I wanted to go to a museum for my birthday. We had a great time; the boys love dinosaurs.

Swim Party

This past weekend we went to a swim party for our Sunday School class. We had lots of fun although it was little bit cool in the pool. The boys had a blast playing with the kids and they were satisfactorily worn out.
