NYC

We spent one day touring the Big Apple. It was a lot of fun. We went to Time Square, walked through Central Park, spent a little time at The Museum of Natural History, and had lunch at Juniors. Yum! While walking around we came across this Charmin Toilet Paper bathroom place. I don't even know how to describe it, but it was probably the best bathroom experience I've ever had. People greeted you at the door, there were multiple toilet paper choices, music, etc. Crazy!
Junior's cheesecake! Mmmmmm!

Tour of The Point

We spent an afternoon touring West Point last week, while my family was here. We all bundled up, because it was cold!, and E did a great job being our tour guide.

The view from Trophy Point. I'm having trouble deciding which season is the most beautiful here. Winter might be in the lead.

Christmas # 2

We were very excited to have my sister and all of her family stay with us for almost a week after Christmas. The boys had been asking for weeks when Auntie would get to our house and were super excited when they arrived. We had a big Christmas dinner and opened some presents.

We were all especially excited to spend some time with this little guy! 6 month-old Baby C.

Blizzard

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and has a blessed 2011. We have been very busy and have been having tons of fun. More posts to come, but first, the blizzard. The day after Christmas, it started snowing. We had heard we would be getting between 6 and 12 inches, but we didn't really believe it. But then it snowed, and snowed and we woke up to this:
And this (E, in the background, shoveling us out.):
Preparing to go out into the snow.

Our greatest worry was the safety of some of our family traveling from Arkansas to see us. We were very thankful when they made it safely, unfortunately our electricity went out. We made the best of it though: pizza, lots of layers to stay warm, and playing cards by candlelight!
