New York Botanical Gardens
We took a trip to the botanical gardens today, but first we had our finger-printing appointment for the adoption. This is a big deal because it is our last item for our dossier. S took this picture of us in front of the Application Center.
We were a little concerned about spending the afternoon at the gardens because it was really hot, but because we could go for free, we decided if we didn't stay that long it would be okay. We ended up staying the whole afternoon and having a great time.

Father's Day Weekend
Happy (late) Father's Day to all the daddies out there, especially E, the best daddy in the world. I think E had a good weekend. It was pretty busy, with birthday parties and cherry picking. We went to a beautiful farm one morning to pick cherries, strawberries, and even a bit of lettuce. The boys had a blast and it was a beautiful day. They especially loved being able to use the cherry-picking ladders.

Where Ya Been?
I just put S on the bus for the last day of school. This year has flown by. I can't believe next year we will have a 2nd Grader and a Kindergartener. It makes me feel so OLD! They both had a great year and E and I are super proud of them.
We have been busy over the last few weeks. But not so busy that we haven't been able to enjoy some wonderful outside time in this beautiful place that we live. We are so blessed!
Last weekend we went to the West Point Graduation. It was really hot for this time of year and a long morning for the boys, but I'm glad they were able to experience it and catch some cadet hats.
We enjoyed S and E's end of school picnics last week.
We also finished up t-ball for the year this week. The boys had a good time playing. Here's O about to hit.And here's S. (I'm not sure why he has this look on his face, but it's pretty funny.)
We are ready for summer!!! We have lots of activities this summer, but also some days of just reading and running around outside. Hope you all have a great summer!
Adoption Update: We received our homestudy a few weeks ago, then sent our I600A to immigration for our fingerprinting appointment, which we have in about 2 weeks. Yay! Making progress bit by bit. Once we are fingerprinted we will wait for clearance and then we'll be done with all the paperwork for our dossier!
