Santa, Gingerbread, and Army vs. Navy

Saturday morning we went to Breakfast with Santa. The boys had a great time playing with friends and eating. S happily sat on Santa's lap and told him some toys he wants. O not so much. Three super handsome boys!
O sat with Santa just long enough for us to get a pic of him jumping down!

The newest member of our Sunday School class. Adorable!

This is the beer label E and I designed for the Black Knight Stout he brewed for the big game. (In case you can't see what it says: Eat, Drink, and Beat Navy, Black Knight Stout). The game didn't turn out very well but we had a great time with friends. Unfortunately all of the pics I took at the party turned out really dark, so I can't post them.

Sunday evening (Evening?! What were we thinking?) we made gingerbread houses. It was a little messy and the boys ate way too much frosting and candy, but we had a ton of fun!

We thought it best to remove their shirts before they got too messy.

"It's the most wonderful time of the year..."

This is my favorite time of year! I love celebrating Christmas so much, however, we are so so busy right now. I thought I'd better post this past week's events before the next round starts. Our SS class Christmas party.
This past Sunday we stayed after church for a Family Day. We ate pizza and watched a super fun crowd-involved show. The boys are standing in line to play a game.

S is in choir at church on Wedensday nights and we attended his Christmas concert Sunday evening. We took some pics of the boys before we left.

S and his friend, Layla. They were watching a movie together while the girls from our SS class had a cookie exchange.

Thanksgiving

One of my sisters and her family came to visit for Thanksgiving. It was the first time we've had family for Thanksgiving in a really long time. It was great! We ate lots of food, played lots of games, and the boys were spoiled rotten.
We had a traditional Thanksgiving: tons of food and then we watched the Cowboys play.
E, my niece Ashley, and myself were the only three to wake up at 4:45a.m. for Black Friday. It was completely crazy. We did get some good deals, though.

On Saturday we all went for a hike up Mt. Kennesaw. It was a beautiful day.

Pre-Thanksgiving

The week before Thanksgiving the boys' school had a Thanksgiving feast. The three's and above dressed up and sang some songs, there were crafts, then we had lunch. It was a lot of fun. Ready for the feast!
S's class dressed up as turkeys.

Coloring the fish they "caught."
Pics from our family Thanksgiving will follow soon.

Fall Fun

On Saturday we took the boys out to breakfast at a local coffee shop. I wasn't sure if we should go or not because it's not super kid-friendly and the last time we went it was very stressful. But, this time the boys were little angels, even one of the waitresses commented on how good they were. It didn't hurt that they were eating giant blueberry muffins and bacon. We all enjoyed our yummy breakfast and then headed to a really fun park to play.
S exiting the fast slide.
O climbing on the tractor.

E and S walking on the trail.

Boot camp!

A few weeks ago the boys and I took a trip to Ikea (Yay!) and found these adorable airplane hats. We couldn't pass them up. The look is complete with their Super Man pj's.

Halloween Festivities, Part 2

On Halloween we took our Cowboy and Pirate to our church for a carnival. The boys had a blast playing games, riding horses, riding trains, going on a hay ride, and eating lots of unhealthy food. Enjoying some nachos.

Shooting some cans.

S picked the biggest horse to ride. He loved riding! O was too scared, so we just watched.

Halloween Festivities, Part 1

We had a spooky, good time over the Halloween weekend. We were very busy going to a costume party, a birthday party and a carnival. We started the weekend by going to friends' house for a costume party. Lots and lots of fun!

All the kids in one spot for approximately 47 seconds.
Our lovely menfolk. (E is the one wearing the SEXY Elvis wig!)

The lovely ladies.

O after eating a yummy black-frostinged cake. (Seriously scary diapers the next day!)

Now I look more witchy.

Apparantly, O will be quite happy if we wrap up a bunch of t.p. for him for Christmas.
More fun pics in a few days. Stay tuned!

Fall Parties

The boys had their Fall Parties at school last week and mama took lots of pictures. Because they go to a church pre-school, we don't have Halloween parties, Fall instead. They had a farm theme so S dressed as a dog and O as a cow. At the party.

Making a craft.

S's class.

I'm O's room mom this year and these are the pumpkin cupcakes I made for his class. They turned out cute and were easy!

What a sad little cow.

Milking a "cow."

Taking a rest.

After the party the kids could pet some farm animals that were visiting.
