Cadets and Daisy

This afternoon we were able to participate in the Ice Cream Social, which is an event they have every summer for the new cadets. New cadets are assigned to you and they come to your house for the afternoon. You feed them LOTS of food and let them use the phone, internet, etc.

So we had 3 guys come to our house, which the boys loved! They pretty much wouldn't leave them alone. I think they had a good time and were able to relax for a few hours.

AND, yesterday I drove to an adoption fair in New Jersey and picked up the newest member of our family, Daisy. She is a 9 week-old Beagle/Boxer mix. She is in that adorable new puppy faze. She plays and plays, then she sleeps for hours. She's a very sweet girl.
